CatsEye, 'The first glowing golf ball' that makes gazing into the distance for the golf ball unnecessary, lengthy searching in wooded surroundings will be superfluous but above all it extends the enjoyment of playing golf. By hitting the ball it will lighten vivid and stand out splendid up to the dark sky in the evening. Too fast looking up, to be able to follow the ball belongs herewith to the past. The CatsEye stays at least three hours active and after that it will be usable as an ordinary golf ball, with good playing properties.

In cooperation with BPO this lightening golf ball is developed. The patented luminous core will be activated by the acceleration powers by hitting the ball. A requirement is that normal falling and transportation should not activate the ball. To determine exactly the composition of the luminous core we precisely calculated the accelerations and deformations when hitting the golf ball by means of the detailed finite element methods simulations.

The CatsEye should be in the standard equipment of each professional golfer. Now it is even possible (and very fashionable) to organize and to play night golf tourneys. This gives the golf court owner the extra opportunity to let the players leave later and play out the 9 or 18 holes.

At the moment The CatsEye golf ball is produced in a bright green-yellow colour and in the future it will be on sale in more colours. Soon the CatsEye golf balls will be available in most of the golf shops and the qualitative better sporting shops.
