Engineering of the lid including a mould flow optimisation. The lid is designed to be part of a series of lids, called “Europa 2”. Design stack ability and mould ability were important parameters in this project.
During the process a full-scale prototype was made to judge several properties of the design.

Within geometrical and structural boundary conditions, BPO engineered a cost efficient lid that fits into the product family.
