DAF Expansion tank

Client and producer:

Entire development from concept to product in cooperation with Polynorm Van Niftrik B.V.

The three parts of the tank are welded together after moulding. In order to make optimal use of the available space in the truck, the geometry of the tank is complex. During normal use the product withstands high internal pressure at high temperatures.

Result:

The final design has been optimised for material use and mould ability. This sped up the development, reduced the amount of material used and improved the reliability of the product.
