Project Engineer (TU/HTS io, wtb l&r)

For our team of plastic products we are currently looking for: enthusiastic, preferably just graduated, engineers (HTS or TU) Industrial Design, Aeronautical engineering or Mechanical engineering. We invite you to send us a letter of application. You have knowledge of mechanics, FEM-analysis as well as a good constructive insight. Experience with plastics, 3D CAD and simulation programmes is recommended. Good English and German in speech and in writing is desirable. Communicative qualities as well as flexibility, should be able to perform under stress and a sense of teamwork are necessary.

Project Engineer (TU/HTS io)

You have knowledge of plastics, production technics, FEM-analysis as well as a good constructive insight. Experience with 3D CAD(SolidWorks, Catia 5 and/or Pro/Engineer) is recommended. Good English and German in speech and in writing is desirable. Communicative qualities as well as flexibility, should be able to perform under stress and a sense of teamwork are necessary.

Interships

BPO is always looking for motivated interns (m/f) of various technical colleges and universities.
Tasks of an intern could be:

• Concept thinking and brainstorming in projects
• Assist in preparing presentations for customers
• Modelling with CAD software like Pro/Engineer, CATIA and SolidWorks
• Modelling with FEM software like Msc/MARC and Plastics Insight Mold flow
• Building test set-ups, performing and reporting tests to project leaders
• (Hand)calculations on constructions and mechanisms

The activities can be in any phase of the design process, from idea phase to detailing and optimising for mold construction. The duration of the project is from a few days up till months. You will work under the responsibility of experienced project leaders.
